The Great Groove Band is the Festival’s participatory music program for kids ages 6–18. Bring your voice and instrument (violin, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, school band instruments, and percussion) to participate with professional music coaches in three or four rehearsals during the festival… Friday, 3 pm–5 pm, and Saturday and Sunday mornings 9 am–11 am. You’ll learn some folk songs & fiddle tunes to share with your friends and family. All this culminates in a main-stage performance on Sunday afternoon. A link to the music will be available on this page at the beginning of May so you can get a head start. You’ll learn the music by heart, so there will be no music stands on the stage.
