The 2021 Old Songs Festival is going VIRTUAL

We’d all love to be together this year, but the question of when we can gather in person again is still uncertain. The health and safety of our audience members, volunteers, and artists is of paramount importance to Old Songs. So, we will have a festival, but you won’t have to travel — you’ll be able to join us from home or wherever you happen to be at the time! Watch for details over the coming months about the virtual festival and how to join in the fun. Music, Dance, learn hows, Great Groove Band, and so much more. So, save the date — June 25–27, 2021.

The 2021 Virtual Old Songs Festival (June 25–27) is in the initial planning stages and will include concerts, workshops, learn hows, the Great Groove Band for our 8–18 year old participants, children’s programming, a virtual crafts area, sponsor booths and more. Watch your email for details over the next few months leading up to the event.

Old Songs has presented and will continue to present virtual concerts and events until it is safe for us to gather in person again. Some of these are still available for you to view for the first time or to revisit, through links on our website. Artist tip jars are also listed on our website for each of the concerts so you can support the artists directly. We continue to offer virtual classes as they are available.

Old Songs continues to support the annual Black Creek Fiddler’s Reunion as well as another favorite, Spring into Uke, both of which will be virtual this year.

Old Songs’ Directors and staff thank you for your support that allows us to continue to bring the music and artists you love, as well as those you may come to love, into your homes in these difficult times.

Touring folk artists, whose music so enriches our lives, faced the loss of considerable income during the pandemic. Please consider ways of supporting them. Many are live-streaming concerts online on their own — so follow your favorites on Facebook and check their Websites for information.

We hope to be able to start up in-person concerts, classes, jam sessions and more in the not-too-distant future, and we are of course looking forward gathering in-person for the 40th Old Songs Festival, June 24–26, 2022.

If you have tickets for the in-person festival that were rolled over from last year, you may once again roll them over to 2022, request a refund, or let us know if you would like to use them as a donation to Old Songs by emailing us or leaving us a message at 518-765-2815.

We miss sharing the music and camaraderie with all of you and hope you will join us for the 2021 Virtual Old Songs Festival, June 25–27.

Stay safe and healthy until we can gather in person!
